The impact of Poland’s highest court
On October 22nd Poland’s highest court made the decision to make it illegal for those pregnant to have an abortion even in the case of severe genetic defects. They removed the voices of womb owners in Poland and sent a loud, very clear message to womxn everywhere. That though this is 2020, you still do not have autonomy over your body.
Poland already has basically the strictest abortion rules in Europe. The abortions they are banning where the foetus has serious and irreversible birth defects make up all of the small number of abortions performed legally in the country.
“I now know my government sees me as a human incubator, without any rights or voice if I need to terminate a pregnancy in case of severe genetic defects or pregnancies that put my life at risk. Polish women now have no right to put an end to their own suffering and pain – and to the suffering and pain of the fetus. This extreme ruling could force thousands of Polish women to go through the unforgettable trauma of giving birth, and watching children die in extreme pain soon afterward if the child was born alive.”

Something we have to remember is that womxn have been protesting, marching, shouting, clambering and crying out for their rights for years.
Reproductive rights are a constant issue. They are an issue even in this country (not to this extent as we have now rights to abortion since the Abortion Act in 1967) but when a 10 year old is put on the pill without the parent fully understanding the impact this may have on their fertility- it is a problem.
The constant suppression of womxn’s rights over their own bodies creates a disconnect for womxn from their wombs. This energetic and physical disconnect then impacts on the current generation and the generations to come unless the lineage is healed.
The protests in Poland have been intense. In fact, the government were taken a back with how many took to the streets to fight for their rights which is why they are still reviewing the ruling. Not only does the ruling impact on womxn but the fight to change it will be incredibly damaging in itself.
Our wombs hold a blueprint that continues to need healing. In order to heal our own/the collectives wounds we need to go to our roots. To our shadows. To do the real work. We have to believe and know that we are created perfectly and should only experience pure, ecstatic pleasure and joy. We need to re-nurture, re-gestate, re-birth ourselves. We need to heal our deep traumas. No mantra can support us. The only way is through. Love is the only way.
The world continues to constrict our wombs so our dreams cannot be fully embodied and lived.
Our ancestral line continues to flow through our own wombs and impact on our own lives which includes: a deep lack of self-belief and second guessing around our hopes as womxn. Period problems. Infertility. A lack of control and touch on our own bodily systems. Dis-ease.
I wanted to share a story I read which has only propelled my journey to follow a path to womb healing:
Mysterious Grail text The Elucidation shares the story of damsels of the well, where their ministry was to support those who were thirsty. They would appear from the sacred wells of Gaia (mother earth) offering sustenance to pilgrims. One day a king rapes one of the maidens and soon his men follow suit. These sacred wells become barren wasteland. The damel’s golden cups stolen by the men. The feminine fell silent. This news reached the Grail knights of the round table, guardians of the womb. They would not rest until the damsels had been avenged. Eventually they found a tribe wandering the forests who were descendants of the damsels and the above king. The Grail knights could not kill the descendants for they were now ancestors of both the damsels and the evil. The lesson was to not sort the past as they thought but to heal the birth of the future.
“King Amangon was the first to violate their hospitality:
He behaved wickedly and underhandedly;
Afterwards many others did likewise
Because of the example given
By the king who should have protected the maidens
And guarded and kept them safe.
He forced himself upon one of the maidens
And deflowered her against her will
And took the golden bowl from her
And carried it off along with the girl,
Then had her serve him ever afterwards.
Ill luck was to come of it,
For no maiden served again
Or came forth from that well
To help any man who happened by
And requested sustenance there;”
“By healing the wombs of the women, so will we heal the physical and spiritual wasteland- and the sacred rivers will flow and redeem again” (Bertrand and Bertrand)
When womxn are forced to do something against there will as is happening in Poland, the affects of this live on in womb after womb until there is healing. The high court impact will now live on through the womxn and needs to be healed.

In fact, it is important to bear in mind that there is a direct link between the yoni and the throat. The throat births utterances derived from the word uterus- sound has a creative birthing power as does our yonis. We birth creativity from both passageways. When you consider the fact that womxn are being silenced and have long been silenced it makes sense that there are energy blocks between the mouth and yoni. It makes sense that fertility and creativity is then blocked.
Any work we do as an individual not only heals for ourselves, for our lineage but for the collective. Every time we do this deep work we are going deep inside our womb, our hearts and our bodies. Looking deep into our sacred wells. We return our voices to the feminine collective.
