Keep doing your thing

I listened to a fabulous podcast episode on a drive home a couple of weeks back by Sara Tasker. I love her Hashtag Authentic podcast and this one really struck a cord.

your wonderful thing

As someone who flits around and panics that things I do just aren’t good enough, I have often sacked off an idea too soon.

Recently, I have been exploring The Quantum World- Metaphysics. It’s all about surrendering. Going with the ebs and flows of life while ensuring your thoughts are positive on every level. Manifestation at its finest. But some of it just is tough. Ensuring you put out positive thoughts at all times is something I am having to work on.

The main point I took away from this podcast episode was that in order to truly, deeply believe in yourself, in what you do; you just have to keep going. It is unlikely that what you have produced is worthless to the point that you should sack it off completely.

I also took away the fact that sometimes what you offer to this world will be loved but people just aren’t in a position to make an investment either with time or money at a certain point.

Sara sells a sell-out Insta-retreat online and she has done so for 4 years. It hasn’t changed. She keeps plugging it and it keeps on adapting. It is also still incredibly successful. She shares that her first round made her 40k in a few minutes.

Many of you reading this won’t be offering anything to anyone to sell. In that case, the simple point here is to keeping pushing on with whatever your plans maybe. Don’t give-up. Nothing is too wild. It will have success if you truly, deeply believe it will. Your desire for whatever it is must simply come from a beautiful/ authentic place. This could be dreams of a new job, hopes for relationships, something you want to introduce into your life.

There are some here who read this who run their own businesses. Don’t stop. Keep going. What you offer is fabulous. It may be tweaked and adapted but essentially you have to keep going. Have you exhausted all the avenues possible for plugging whatever it is you offer? I doubt it.

The reason I share this today is because I have been thinking about this newsletter and my new potential offerings. My new journey comes from the most authentic place. I am in love with the work.

My ideas aren’t quite there. I have more work to do on myself but they are coming. The downloads are coming and mostly after some shadow work. In fact, I haven’t listened to a work-related podcast in months and months. The fact I have means a shift is happening.

I literally feel like a caterpillar in a cocoon.

I visualised myself as a phoenix rising from the ashes on my latest breathwork journey and have seen the phoenix three times since this journey on Thursday.

My sudden fear with anything new was this newsletter. I already have a handful of you invested in what I have to say. This newsletter is wonderful and I adore writing to you each week. When I say you- it really is just a few of you and I just don’t care that I have a small audience. I don’t want 5 thousand followers on Instagram who are in it just to be nosy about my life. I want those who I can call my cheerleaders. My true cheerleaders. I am not going anywhere- instead I want to offer more. A rounded package. I don’t want to offer one of one thing, one of another thing and end up spreading myself thinly. What I want is to offer an all encompassing membership. You are essentially halfway there by already being subscribers. People would still be subscribers or they could invest in slightly more to receive…more.

What I have right here is an engaged audience. An audience who offer me unwavering support. There is no way I would stop this just because I haven’t hit bigger numbers just yet.

I must use these foundations and build on it.

I can’t stop doing my thing.

Don’t stop doing yours.

Keep going babes.
